RPCS Manual

The Rakata Power Combat System (RPCS) launched in our simulation in August 2026 in beta mode. The Force HUD (Heads-Up Display) interface had existed since 2009. At that time, FCRS creator Cindy Kellner granted limited access to her system and released "no-mod" scripts, allowing any capable developer to create their own HUDs for FCRS. We were among the few to seize this opportunity—with valuable assistance from an SL scripter named Uber Rosca—and created our own. The new concept for this FCRS-based HUD involved a "Mass Attack" feature; while this deviated from official canon, it made combat far more spectacular and dramatic. Unfortunately, once FCRS ceased operations, further development of our Rakata Power HUD became impossible. But, as the saying goes, ideas never die. After years of using other systems, some players expressed a desire to revive FCRS or create a new system based on a rank hierarchy. That is exactly what we did—this time, entirely with the help of AI. The base script was created under my close supervision using Grok. At one point, Grok refused—yes, that can happen—to create a version linked to a server-side database. Development continued with ChatGPT, Gemini (which optimized the script, though perhaps too radically), and finally, the paid version of Claude. By early September 2026, a beta version for melee combat was operational, featuring rewritten Force HUD scripts and a health regeneration add-on (known as "bacta"). It took me two weeks of spare time after work to create it. I can't say it was easy—after all, I'm not a scripter—but thanks to AI, it turned out to be possible, and our RPCS is now up and running. A description of the system and its key features follows below. Every notecard handed out in world, in one place. Newest changes are at the top of each card.

RPCS — RENTING A PLACE ON LEHON

Homes, workshops, back rooms and market stalls. Pay in Kredits, get a

door only you can open.

HOW TO RENT

Find a rental box with a green light — green means free.

Touch it. It tells you the price and how long a rental period lasts. Choose how many periods you want and the Kredits come off your account straight away. The door is yours from that moment. green free, anyone may rent it orange rented, days remaining shown red rent has run out, grace period running You can rent several periods at once, up to the limit the landlord has set. The box will tell you if you ask for too many.

WHILE IT IS YOURS

The door opens for you with a touch and closes itself again shortly

after. Everyone else gets told to ask you for a key. EXTEND Touch the box and choose Extend. Time is added to what you have left, so extending early costs you nothing. GUESTS Ask your landlord to put someone on the guest list. It is a notecard in the door, one UUID per line. Guests open the door like you do. GIVE IT UP If you no longer need the place, choose Give up. The unit goes back on the market at once. There is no refund for the days left — so do not do it by accident.

WHEN THE RENT RUNS OUT

A day before your time is up you get a message. Extend it and nothing

happens. If you let it run out, the light turns red and a grace period begins — usually half a day. During that time the place is still yours and you can still extend. When the grace period ends, the door opens for everyone again and the unit is free to rent. Nothing in the room is touched. But anything you leave behind is standing in a room that now belongs to whoever rents it next.

DOORS CAN BE BROKEN

A locked door is not a wall.

Every door takes 500 points of damage before it gives way. Sabers, blasters, grenades — all of them work; a door is metal, not an energy field. No counter is shown until someone starts hitting it, so you will notice the number appearing when the door is being worked on. When a door falls, it simply stops being there. No explosion, no debris. It repairs itself after a while and locks again. So: a rented room keeps out anyone who is not welcome. It does not keep out someone determined to get in, and it does not keep out a squad with grenades. That is deliberate. A raid on somebody's quarters should be possible — it should just be loud, slow, and impossible to deny afterwards. If someone breaks your door, that is roleplay, not griefing. If it happens in a way that ignores the story — no reason, no warning, no scene — take it to an officer.

FOR LANDLORDS

The rental box has a few extra options for whoever owns it:

ASSIGN rent the unit for someone else and pay for them. Useful for a new member who has no Kredits yet, or for someone who is offline. They get the key, you get the bill. EVICT free the unit at once. Use it sparingly, and say why. HIDE TEXT switch off the floating text over the box. Rent can go to you, or straight into a faction vault. A district owned by an order, paying for its own shield generator out of the rent, is a better story than a landlord getting richer.
